Having logged into Last.fm this morning I quickly became distracted by the statistics of what I’d been listening to over the last twelve months, and there’s definitely been quite a change as I discovered a number of new (and not so new) artists that I enjoy listening to, mostly thanks to Last.fm introducing me to them.
It turns out I’m into rock, female vocalists, pop, indie and alternative music. I can agree with that, especially looking at my top 5 most listened to artists, where Glasgow group Camera Obscura came out #1 by quite a margin ahead of another Glaswegian, Amy MacDonald. The top 5 was rounded out by The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs and Maxïmo Park.
